Event Description
<p>The <a href="https://www.hks.harvard.edu/centers/taubman/programs-research/pepg" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Program on Education Policy and Governance</a> Colloquium Series was initiated in the spring of 2004 to foster an interest in education research within the Harvard community by inviting top scholars from across the country to present their recent research findings in an open discussion with colloquium attendees.</p><p> </p><p>PEPG welcomes Jim Blew, advisor to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit Coaltion and former assistant secretary for policy and budget at the U.S. Department of Education, to discuss the forthcoming Federal Scholarship Tax Credit, the Treasury Department's recently released rules over its implementation, and how states that have opted in are preparing for this new school choice provision. Blew's presentation will be followed by a Q&A moderated James Peyser, former Massachusetts Secretary of Education.</p>
