Event Description
<p>How do you establish an enduring human presence on the Moon? What scientific, operational, logistical, and engineering challenges must be solved to make long-duration lunar exploration possible?</p><p> </p><p>Join the Belfer Center for a special conversation with members of NASA's Moon Base Office of the Chief Architect, a multidisciplinary team helping shape the future of human exploration beyond Earth. </p><p> </p><p>The event will include a presentation on the vision for lunar exploration and the challenges of designing and operating a future Moon base. </p><p> </p><p>The presentation will be followed by a fireside chat with senior members of the Moon Base architecture team, moderated by recent HKS alum Grier Wilt.</p><p> </p><p>This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from experts working at the intersection of space exploration, science, engineering, and operations to build America’s lunar program.</p>
