Event Description
<p>Please join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs for a conversation with <strong>Kristen Soltis Anderson</strong>, Co-Founder of Echelon Insights, political contributor at CNN, and columnist for <em>The New York Times</em>. Soltis Anderson will discuss divisions in the U.S. electorate beyond Republican and Democrat or left and right—and what these divisions say about foreign policy and other domains. </p><p> </p><p>Kristen Soltis Anderson is a Founding Partner of opinion research firm Echelon Insights, a political contributor at CNN and a columnist for <em>The New York Times</em>. She is the author of <em>The Selfie Vote: Where Millennials are Leading America (And How Republicans Can Keep Up)</em>. Soltis Anderson received her Master’s Degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Florida. She has served as a fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics and Georgetown’s Institute of Politics and Public Service. </p><p> </p><p>She serves on the advisory boards of a variety of companies and nonprofit organizations including ClearPath and the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity. She is a member of the Economic Club of Washington. Through her work at Echelon, she advises corporate and government leaders on polling and messaging strategy and has become one of the foremost experts on the Millennial generation. </p><p> </p><p>The seminar will be moderated by Belfer Center Director <strong>Meghan O'Sullivan</strong>, Jeane Kirkpatrick Professor of the Practice of International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Attendance is in-person and for HUID holders only.
